The Holy Rosary Social Justice Commission meets monthly to discuss ways to educate the parish about the issues that pertain to our lives and the lives of others.
For more information, contact Ann Smith, chair of the commission, at email@example.com.
The mission of Holy Rosary’s Social Justice Commission is to integrate Catholic Social Teaching into the parish expression of the saving love of God.
We do this through:
--raising awareness of Catholic Social Teaching
--supporting the parish’s ministries which respond to homelessness, diversity, peace and nonviolence, respect for life, and care for creation.
Seven Key Themes of Catholic Social Teaching
Life and Dignity of the Human Person
Call to Family, Community, and Participation
Rights and Responsibilities
Option for the Poor and Vulnerable
The Dignity of Work and the Rights of Workers
Care for God's Creation
