• SAFE ENVIRONMENT LINK FOR RETURNING PARENTS/VOLUNTEERS TO VIRTUS:
   Step 1:  Log in to VIRTUS.  If you do not remember your password, DO NOT CREATE A DUPLICATE ACCOUNT.  On the top left of the webpage in small red letters “Need login information”, click on that and the program will assist in login information.

   Step 2:  Once in your profile.  There will be several green boxes.
   If you need to renew your background check the box labeled “Background Checks” and there will be a link to click on to resubmit.  Once in Trak1/People Facts follow all of the prompts.  It will ask to submit and then wait for a second screen to review and click submit again.  It will let you know if completed and in process.
   
   Step 3:  Close browser and log back in to your VIRTUS account again and go to the green box that says “Current Training”.  DO NOT CLICK ON THE BLUE LETTERS “Register for an upcoming session” as this is for new registrants only.  If you need an online refresher course, it will have the particular module assigned to your profile.  The refresher courses are approximately 30 minutes long.  Once complete to the end, it will record completion.
   
   SAFE ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS FOR NEW APPLICANTS:
   Step 1:  Log in to VIRTUS and create a profile.

   On the left is a button click on "First Time Registrant"
   It will ask you a location:  Look for "Seattle Archdiocese of WA
   As you create the profile then it will ask you the location of where you volunteer:
   "Holy Rosary Parish - Seattle" or “Holy Rosary School – Seattle”
   
   Once in your profile follow the steps to submit a background check.  Follow the prompts of the page, once you click submit, it will take you to a second page to review, then click submit again.
   
   Step 2:  Log back in to your VIRTUS profile and on the screen will be a series of boxes.
   Click on the box that says, "Current Training"
   Click on the blue letters that say, "Register for an Upcoming Session."
   They now offer an online Foundation Course 
  “Protecting God’s Children Online Awareness Session 4.0 Seattle”
  The course is about 90 minutes.
  
  Step 3:  Go back to your "Home" tab
   The green boxes are on the screen.
   Go to the box that says, "Required Documents" and click on it.
   There are several documents to read through and 'sign'
