Celebrate the 100th Anniversary of the appearance of Our Lady of Fatima! Join us on Saturday, October 14th for a Rosary at Noon in the Church, followed by a viewing of "The 13th Day" - a film about the appearances - and a discussion!
On August 16th and 23rd, Holy Rosary Parish will be hosting two discussions on immigration in the U.S., both at 7:00pm in the School Hall. Bishop Eusebio Elizondo will speak on the 16th, and Ms. Olga Guzhva will speak on the 23rd.
WALKING WITH PURPOSE – SUMMER SESSION – All women are welcome to join our WWP summer session whether you are returning or are new. This is a wonderful opportunity to meet other women and talk about faith and life. This six-week course is a brief but powerful study meant to revive and refresh use as we discover how much God Loves us! We will learn how the Gospels are deeply relevant to our relationships with God and those we love. Thursdays on June 22, 29, and July 6, 13, 20 and 27 from 7:15-9 p.m. in the Parish Center Reception Room
Children’s Faith Formation/Sunday School (“CFF”) provides faith-based classroom education opportunities for children of the parish that do not attend a Catholic school. Classes are offered for children ages 4-16 (preschool through TEENS). To register, go to the Parish website at www.holyrosaryseattle.org and on the Faith Formation page click on registration Form. Classes starts September 10, 2017.
Through out the Year of Mercy Holy Rosary Parish will host different event to promote and explore a spiritual or corporal work of mercy. The Mercy of the Month for January is "Comfort the Afflicted" RSVP for our Family Movie Night Sunday, January 10, 2016 at 6pm in the School Hall Before the movie we will start with a Potluck dinner: BRING YOUR FAVORITE COMFORT FOOD to share! The movie we will watch is : Molokai Molokai is the true story of the 19th century priest, Father Damien, who volunteered to go to the island of Molokai, to console and care for the lepers. Hawaii celebrated Father Damien as its first official Catholic saint in October, 2009. This film is rated PG The Parish will provide popcorn and treats and a cozy place to watch the movie... bring sleeping bags and pillows to spread out on the floor and relax! Date: 01/10/2016 (Sun.) Advent Social for Families Sunday, November 23 after 8:30 and 10:30 Masses in the School Hall. All Parish families are invited to celebrate the Season of Advent at Holy Rosary with activities, crafts and singing. This time of year, it is easy to get caught up in the consumerism of Christmas. What are you doing as a family to celebrate the Season of Advent? Advent is the next Liturgical season and officially starts Sunday, November 30 and is our time to prepare ourselves as we anticipate Christ coming into us and the world on Christmas Day. Please join us for this Family Faith event which will run until 12:30pm. In addition, let’s support those who are hungry in West Seattle by bringing non-perishable food items for our St. Vincent de Paul food room.
