On August 16th and 23rd, Holy Rosary Parish will be hosting two discussions on immigration in the U.S., both at 7:00pm in the School Hall. Bishop Eusebio Elizondo will speak on the 16th, and Ms. Olga Guzhva will speak on the 23rd.
Through out the Year of Mercy Holy Rosary Parish will host different event to promote and explore a spiritual or corporal work of mercy. The Mercy of the Month for January is "Comfort the Afflicted" RSVP for our Family Movie Night Sunday, January 10, 2016 at 6pm in the School Hall Before the movie we will start with a Potluck dinner: BRING YOUR FAVORITE COMFORT FOOD to share! The movie we will watch is : Molokai Molokai is the true story of the 19th century priest, Father Damien, who volunteered to go to the island of Molokai, to console and care for the lepers. Hawaii celebrated Father Damien as its first official Catholic saint in October, 2009. This film is rated PG The Parish will provide popcorn and treats and a cozy place to watch the movie... bring sleeping bags and pillows to spread out on the floor and relax! Date: 01/10/2016 (Sun.)
