Handbell Choir

This year, we will be forming a Handbell Choir! Come and ring with us! We will accompany our children’s YouthChoir! on Christmas Eve and Easter, and possibly some other dates this year. Adults and teens who are musically inclined will feel right at home with a handbell! Familiarity with music notation will help, but the sequential nature of playing handbells will lend itself to most individuals. Do you like to be musical? Have you played an instrument? Time to try something new and fun! Try handbells!

Handbell Choir Rehearsals:
7-8pm, Parish Center, room 203, Director: Marleen Land
Mondays, September 28, 2015 — March 21, 2016
[except for Nov 23, Dec 28, Jan 4, 18, Feb 15]

Handbell Choir Performances:
Christmas Eve: Thursday, December 24, 2015 @ 4pm mass
Easter Sunday: March 27, 2016 @ 10:30 mass

You can register online and pay for Session 1, 2 or both. Session 1 will feature and introduction to handbells, music for mass, and specific songs for Christmas! Session 2 will feature an overview of Session 1, plus new songs for Easter! NOTE: There is a discount if you register for both sessions!

HOLY ROSARY HANDBELL PROGRAM:
Session 1: Intro+Christmas Handbells = $65 per participant
(12 practices Monday, 7-8pm, Sep 28-Dec 21) [not Nov 23]
Session 2: Easter Handbells = $50 per participant
(9 practices Monday, 7-8pm, Jan 11-Mar 21) [not Jan 18, Feb 15]
Both Session 1 & 2 = $100 ($15 discount!)
