We, the Carmelite Sisters here in the Philippines are grateful for all the donations that came in since last week, through our Sisters in West Seattle.
Our Sisters in Bantayan Island were "surprised" with a presence yesterday of members from Child United bringing them Php43,000.00 to help in the construction of our convent. Sr. Alvin called up with gratitude and joy informing us that the guests told them that they belong to the Child United organization whose community-connect comes from Seattle [thru] one of the musicians at Holy Rosary Parish, Edmar Obenza. In spite of what the sisters and their community went through, they had a little birthday celebration of Sr. Ronelyn and they shared fellowship with them - Eucharistic dining. We continue to be grateful as we move forward with Jesus on the lead.
Yes, thank you so much everyone for your generous support. Special thanks to Child United there in Seattle. This is a great help as we hope to see our convent rise again with all your support and compassion.
