Requirements for Certification of Baptism Preparation (other parish):


 

We are a mobile society and it is understandable while your family may currently live in Seattle, that you may have special reasons for having your baby baptized in a parish in your "home" state, etc.  Outlined below are the requirements for getting certified by our parish that your family is prepared for baptism:

• Initial meeting with Deyette Swegle.
• Please check with the baptism-location-parish (other parish) regarding specifics which they require i.e. a certificate of preparation.
• Attend Parent Baptism Classes (exception: if you have attended a baptism preparation class within the past three years and you are actively practicing your faith)
